Map the real opening
Measure the usable surface and the door swing. A narrow console is only helpful if the whole arrival route remains comfortable. Include handles and protruding objects in the sketch.
Group what belongs here
Make three small categories: items leaving tomorrow, items arriving today, and things that live here. Give each a defined boundary rather than purchasing the largest possible basket.
Test before buying the set
Try a temporary tray first. If the surface gathers unrelated objects, change the categories before adding more containers. Choose storage that can be lifted for cleaning without dismantling the whole arrangement.
